To add variety, add 2 TBSP avocado or a 2” piece of cucumber or ¼- ½ mango
For a spice punch, add a tiny (!) piece of ginger, or ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ cup raw cacao
The blueberry – green combination often leads to a more grey final color. I don’t mind this as I drink it right away and know what liquid goodness I am smothering my body with.
If the color bothers you, reduce the amount of greens, or leave out the blueberries and make these in a separate smoothie another day without the greens.
