  • ½ cup sliced fresh ginger root with skin
  • 1 organic lemon, sliced very fine, pips removed
  • 2 quarts boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (if desired)
  1. Bring water to a boil
  2. Arrange ginger and lemon slices in a heat-proof glass jug with a 2 quart capacity
  3. Pour boiled water over ingredients and let steep all day
  4. Drink numerous glasses a day
  5. Once cooled to room temperature, you can add the honey if some sweet flavor is desired
  6. You can keep on refilling the jug with fresh boiled water all day long
